Sunshine Dew from Earth Harbor is a facial cleanser meant to remove dirt, makeup and impurities from skin while leaving it soft and hydrated.
The featured ingredients are sea kelp and papaya enzymes.
This product is rated a 2 EWG’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database website. This means that the ingredients in this product are believed to have a low hazard to your health. With this product all of the ingredients are rated 1 or 2 except for citrus-based ingredients which are rated a 6 or 7.
Earth Harbor’s goal is to be an industry leader in sustainable beauty. It’s a woman-owned business whose products are plant based and made in small batches. They are cruelty, GMO, gluten and soy free, as well as vegan and fair trade.

My Review
This review is based solely on my own personal use of the product over a period of time. In this case I had two bottles of this cleanser which lasted me well over a month.
I do also research other reviews and ratings to see if there are any other pros or cons to the product that come up often that may not have affected me.
My Skin Type
In general, I have normal to combination skin. While my facial skin isn’t sensitive at all, I do sometimes react to products on my neck.
I’m in my mid-40’s with only some fine lines around the eyes and some minor, but expected, loss of firmness.
How I Use Sunshine Dew
I used this cleanser as directed until both bottles were completely gone.
The directions state to apply this oil onto dry skin, then add tepid water to massage away dirt and makeup.
I used this cleansing oil mostly in the evenings.
There has been no irritation to my skin at all when using this product.
The oil easily removed my makeup, including mascara. I did use a wash cloth to help rinse it off, but it does rinse clean. There was no oily residue at all after rinsing and my skin felt very clean, hydrated and fresh.
I don’t currently have any of this oil cleanser left, but I would definitely use it again. Cleansing oils and balms are my favorite types of facial cleansers.
Cons
No one product is perfect for everyone, however most of the reviews for this cleansing oil are very positive.
The few complaints that I saw stated that it didn’t completely remove their make up, and one may have had an allergic reaction.
In my opinion, the price tag is a little high, but because it’s an oil, a little goes far.
