The featured ingredients are spirulina and matcha, which give this cream a light green color.
This product is rated a 3 EWG’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database website. This means that the ingredients in this product are believed to have a low or moderate hazard to your health. With this product all of the ingredients are rated 1 or 2 except for sweet basil extract which is rated a 6.
Earth Harbor’s goal is to be an industry leader in sustainable beauty. It’s a woman-owned business whose products are plant based and made in small batches. They are cruelty, GMO, gluten and soy free, as well as vegan and fair trade.
I have reviewed Earth Harbor Azure neck cream, as well, and plan to review many more of their products as this is a brand that I really love and want to continue to support.

My Review
This review is based solely on my own personal use of the product over a period of time, in this case about 3 weeks.
I do also research other reviews and ratings to see if there are any other pros or cons to the product that come up often that may not have affected me.
My Skin Type
In general, I have normal to combination skin. While my facial skin isn’t sensitive at all, I do sometimes react to products on my neck.
I’m in my mid-40’s with only some fine lines around the eyes and some minor, but expected, loss of firmness.
How I Use Mermaid Milk
I used this cream as directed for a few of weeks. I am still using it at the time of this review.
The directions state to massage it onto the skin in an upward, circular motion. It does not state how often to use it.
In the beginning I only used it at night on the evenings that I did not use retinol. Once my day time moisturizer was gone, I added this to my morning routine as well.
I have no irritation on my skin at all when using this product. It also absorbs into the skin very nicely.
For me, the benefits from this product were good, but just not anything super special. My skin felt hydrated, but not exceptionally smoother than with any other product.
I honestly did not notice any significant “glow” but again, my skin felt hydrated and not tight. It does absorb very well so it could be that I’m used to more residual product on the surface of the skin.
Most of the reviews of this moisturizer are very promising.
I will continue to use this until it’s gone. If any significant improvements appear with continued use, I will definitely come back to update this post.
Cons
No one product is perfect for everyone.
I scoured a lot of ratings and reviews for this product, most of which are very high.
The few complaints that I saw indicate that it may not be the best choice for acne prone skin.
Some people don’t care for the scent, which I personally barely noticed.
