The winter 2023 Beachly box is my third box since starting my subscription and the first box in which I was finally able to choose my own items for a few of the categories.
Because this is a new subscription for me, I didn’t really choose based on the season. For example, I could have chosen a blanket, hoodie, or robe but instead chose some warmer weather items that I had missed out on last season.
With that said, you may not feel this is a very winter-y box, but there were definitely more fitting items for the season available.

What Is Beachly?
Beachly is a coastal lifestyle subscription box that ships quarterly. There is a women’s box and a men’s box.
It contains items like clothing, jewelry, decor, and more.
Can You Customize Your Beachly Box?
Yes, you can customize a couple of the items in your Beachly box.
Just be aware that customization closes before boxes start to ship so you may have to wait until the next box to be able to customize.
Add On’s
Add-on purchases are also an option each season.
Again, I haven’t been through this process yet and will update this section in future reviews once I learn more.
How Much Does Beachly Cost?
Beachly has two subscription tiers, seasonal and annual. Seasonal is $99.00 a quarter. You can also pay for an annual subscription (4 boxes) upfront for a total of $336.00 which saves you $60.00 over the year.
Winter 2023 Beachly Review
Please keep in mind that some items will vary and that you will not have the ability to choose all of these items at this time. The window to choose items is only open for a short period of time, before boxes start shipping out.
Note: the first box is a welcome box, where you get to choose from some newer items and some past box items.
Birds of Paradise Tote by Seabird Society ($60.00)
This first item was from the Fall 2023 box and one that I had really wanted then, but was unable to choose (I signed up too late to choose my own items).
We really needed a legitimate beach bag after using an over-sized grocery tote for the past couple of years.
This is is pretty big. I imagine we will have no trouble fitting our towels, sunscreen and other items in here.
It’s also just really pretty and I love the tassel!
I’m not sure where this item was made.
Myles Sunglasses by Raen ($149.00)
These sunglasses were another choice item that I missed out on last season. I’m really happy I was able to get them this time around.
In my fall 2023 review, I did say that I would have 100% chosen the sunglasses if I could have.
Mine have had the most annoying crack in one lens that I’ve been dealing with for a couple of months now so I’m very glad to have a new pair that’s almost identical.
The print on the bag is really cute too!
Again, it doesn’t say where these were made.
Malibu Body Scrub By C. The Moon ($22.00)
I chose the body scrub simply because I preferred it over the other choices.
It’s just incredibly small at just 2 ounces for $22.
This is an item that I will use though. Body scrubs are rarely in subscription boxes and I do love them.
This one smells like a vanilla cookie!
Made in the U.S.A.
Mini Palm By Modern Sprout ($15.00)
I chose this mini palm seed sprouting kit over a candle.
It definitely is a unique item and if I can get it to grow, I think it would be a nice addition to our porch this summer.
I won’t be starting it anytime soon though. It’s just too cold where I am, so I’ll hold onto this to start in the spring.

Pineapple Keychain By Island Haus Co ($15.00)
All members will receive this item.
This is a cute little keychain. I haven’t had a pretty keychain in a while so this was a nice addition for me.
Again, it does not say where this was made.
Waiehu Mikiao Nail File Set By Iwi Nails ($10.00)
All members will receive this item.
These were another really cute and unique addition to the box.
The urchin and sea shell shapes are adorable and who doesn’t need some extra nail files?
It doesn’t say where these were made, but it is a Hawaii-based company.
Winter 2023 Beachly Box Final Thoughts
Overall I’m really happy with this box!
Being able to choose for the first time was really nice, and allowed me to get my hands on some past items that I was hoping for last season.
I do think that Beachly does a great job at choosing items that fit within their niche and within the season even if I didn’t choose those items this time around.
I am still on the fence about upgrading to an annual subscription, but so far I am really loving this box.
