My Review
This review is based solely on my own personal use of the product over a period of time. In this case I used the entire jar over a period of several months.
I do also research other reviews and ratings to see if there are any other pros or cons to the product that come up often that may not have affected me.
My Skin Type
In general, I have normal to combination skin. While my facial skin isn’t sensitive at all, I do sometimes react to products on my neck.
I’m in my mid-40’s with only some fine lines around the eyes and some minor, but expected, loss of firmness.
How I Use Blue Tansy
I used this mask about once a week, sometimes a little less often.
While I don’t have issues with acne-prone skin or texture, I still really love the way my face feels after exfoliating.
I did not use this mask ever other day for the first week, as suggested or 2 to 3 times a week as suggested after the first week.
When my skin wasn’t feeling as smooth as it usually does, I would use the mask.
I did experience a tingling sensation, but it wasn’t irritating for me, personally and I was able to leave the mask on for the full 20 minutes.
For me, the results from using this product were really good. My skin felt fresh, very smooth and definitely had a healthy glow to it.
If you don’t have overly sensitive skin, and could use some improvement in texture, I would definitely recommend this product.
Cons
No one product is perfect for everyone. For me, the only con that I really have is that having to wear this mask for 20 minutes definitely kept me from using it often.
While my product did change color over time, I did have it for months because of how infrequent I used it. Even with the color change, the mask worked just as well.
I also read over a lot of ratings and reviews from other people for this product, most of which are very high.
The complaints that I did see were mostly about the product turning green or a possible change in the formula several years ago.
It is noted that those with sensitive skin should patch test first.
A few reviews also mention the price. It’s definitely on the higher end.
