With so many different skin care products on the market, it can be really overwhelming to decide which ones you should invest in. Especially when it comes to higher costing products and especially when those products are not as well-known.
After trying Lovescript’s Décolleté and Neck Cream, I decided to try several more from their line. Some of those products include: Lovescript Sugarplum Body Polish, Lovescript Body Wash, and Lovescript Scented Body Mist in Orange Blossom.
One of the last products that I’ve tested is the Water Nymph Cooling Leave-on Mask.
Below I will discuss more about the brand, the product itself, the results I have experienced after using it several times, and where you can purchase the product should you decide to try it.
Lovescript is a brand started by relationship expert, Lauren Frances. The product line includes bath, body and boudoir items.
Their website states that their products will “will make your body feel deliciously luxurious to the touch, and our fragrance oils will delight you, and leave the objects of your desire, transfixed!”
Their product line includes perfume, body mist, body wash, body polish, body lotion, body butter and face and neck leave-on masks.

My Water Nymph Cooling Leave-on Mask Review
What Is It?
The Water Nymph Cooling Leave-on Mask is a cooling and hydrating mask that is applied anytime, but preferably before bed.
The main ingredients are:
- Hyaluronic Acid: helps skin retain moisture and prevents loss of moisture.
- Sea Kelp: helps increase absorption of other products, increases collagen production and boosts skins natural UV protection.
The scent is very florally. The Lovescript website describes it as a “heavenly, light lavender beach” fragrance. In my opinion it was far from light.
Who Is It For?
Anyone with dry or environmentally irritated skin.
How I Used It
According to the directions you apply this mask at bedtime (or anytime!) and leave on.
I have only used this at bedtime, once or twice a week.
Because the directions do not state at what step in your skincare routine, this mask should be used, I treated it as a moisturizer and applied as the final step before bed.
The product is much, much lighter than I expected. It feel more like a lotion than a cream or mask that I would typically associate with being very hydrating.
The scent is very strong for me. I don’t think many products that I apply to my face have much fragrance at all so that is likely why I noticed it so much with this one.
For this reason I only used this mask 4-5 times total.
Full disclosure: I did not use any other leave-on or wash-off masks during the test period.
I definitely feel that the product is moisturizing, even though it was very lightweight and absorbed very quickly.
Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any significant different in my skin the next morning when compared to the results that I get from other products that I love.
The scent has also been a huge deterrent for me. The jar is sitting on my bathroom counter in plain sight, but I just don’t want to use it. I may end up trying it again this summer when it’s possible my skin will be irritated from the sun and chlorine pool water.
While I will definitely use the entire jar in one way or another (hands or feet maybe?), I wouldn’t repurchase this product. I just prefer less fragrance and more significant results from a leave-on mask.
How Much Does It Cost?
Lovescript’s products fall into the mid to high range price for skincare products.
The retail price of the Water Nymph Cooling Leave-on Mask is $48.00 for a 2 ounce jar. How long the jar lasts will depend on how often you use it and how much you use each time, but a small amount does go a long way.
