When Alltrue, formerly known as Causebox, reached out to me to ask if I’d be willing to try their subscription box and write a review on it, I immediately said yes!
I really love lifestyle boxes, like FabFitFun, and have had my eye on Alltrue for a little while now. After trying the Alltrue Summer Welcome Box, I signed up for a yearly membership.
This Fall 2021 Alltrue Review is my first seasonal box, and I was not disappointed.
For those not familiar with Alltrue, I’ll explain how this membership works and answer any questions you might have. If you already know the deal, then skip on ahead to check out all of the items that came in my box, as well as the other items you can choose from.

What Is Alltrue?
Alltrue is a women’s lifestyle subscription box that ships quarterly. Each box is curated for the season and contains 5-8 sustainable, ethical products that can be fashion, beauty, home, travel, and fitness related.
Can You Customize Your Alltrue Box?
Yes.
Annual members, or those who pay for a year’s membership upfront, can customize their entire box.
Seasonal members, or those who pay quarterly, can customize up to 3 items for each box.
Choice +
If you are having a hard time deciing on which choice item to choose for your box, Alltrue now offers the ability to add multiple items from each category for an addiitonal low members-only price.
Add On Market
Each quarter, Alltrue opens a window of time where members can purchase add-ons for significantly lower prices, up to 70% off, than the retail cost.
The Add On Market contains over 800 additional items that can be purchased around the same time that you curate your box. These name-brand household items range from everything from toiletries to accessories and so much more!
Add On’s are currently shipping separate from the seasonal Alltrue box.
Alltrue also just launched an Essential Shop which is open year-round. This shop is filled with everyday items and orders ship within 2 business days.
How Much Does Alltrue Cost?
Alltrue is regularly $54.95 a quarter. Each box contains over $250.00 in items (the Welcome Box will contain over $120.00 in items). You can also pay for a year (4 boxes) upfront for a total of $199.80 which saves you $20.00 over the year and also gives you the ability to curate your entire box.
The Welcome Box is free with an annual membership and $25.00 with a seasonal membership.
Each box comes with a 48 page abridged version of Alltrue’s magazine, All Good Things. You have the option to upgrade to a 100+ page version each quarter.
Shipping is free for all members within the Contiguous U.S., and $7.95 for those in Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories and Canada.
Now that we got through all of that, let’s see what’s in this box!
Fall 2021 Alltrue Box Review
I was able to curate every item in the box, with the exception of one item that all subscribers will receive.
I also tell you what other items you may receive should you sign up for a subscription before the Fall 2021 box sells out.
Earth Harbor Seas The Day Luxury Skincare Bundle ($80.00)
I had a hard time choosing from the first category. The brand Earth Harbor is one that I’ve tried a few products from recently and really like. I plan to do full reviews on some of their products, so that is why I ended up choosing this bundle.
It comes with three items:
- Sunshine Dew Antioxidant Cleansing Oil
- Tidal Rose Crystal Hydration Toner
- Glow Juice Refining Enzyme Mask
I actually already have 2 cleansing oils, but it works well so I am happy to have more.
I am most excited to try the enzyme mask.
The other items members could choose from include:
- Henny + Lev Vegan 2-in-1 Everyday Tote ($130.00)
- Small:Hours Set of 5 Stackable Pantry Containers($50.00)
- Tease Smart Heated Mug ($65.00)
- LSTN Sound Co. Wanderlust Portable Speaker ($99.99)
Earth Harbor products are made in the USA of sustainably sourced global ingredients.
Accompany Jute Welcome Mat ($38.00)
I chose this mat because I like the look of layering a smaller mat over a larger one. We have a large black mat out front, but it’s not the best for wiping off your feet. Adding this one on top gives a nice layered look, but it’s more functional too.
While the mat is kind of small, it’s still a decent size for the front or back door.
The other choice items in this category are:
- Serene House Ion Fan Diffuser & Inspire Essential Oil ($30.00)
- Botanica Speckled Ceramic Candle ($35.00)
This mat is made in India.
Each Jewels Layering Necklace Set ($42.00)
I love the look of layered necklaces. These are dainty, but very pretty.
They are made of 14 karat gold-plated steel and do not contain nickel.
These are beautiful and will definitely get plenty of use!
The other options that members can choose from include:
- Headbands of Hope Set of 2 Knotted Headbands ($35.00)
- Aloette Winkable Lift & Lengthen Vegan Mascara ($26.00)
These necklaces are made in Vietnam.
Molly’s Suds Natural Wool Dryer Balls Set of 3 ($14.00)
I have been using dryer balls for years, but recently lost one. The pair that I had was silicone, I believe.
This set contains 3 wool balls that will last for 3 years. We tried them out a few times and they work great!
The other items members can choose from in this category are:
- Kitchen Innovations Perfect Measure Silicone and Beechwood Measuring Spoon Set ($15.00)
- Grown Alchemist Hydra Repair Day Cream ($49.00)
I can not tell for sure where these dryer balls are made, but they are made from wool from New Zealand sheep.
Bemakai Manta Hair Towel Wrap ($22.00)
I recently bought a pack of hair wraps like this off of Amazon, but they don’t work as well as I was hoping.
This material feels completely different and more absorbent. I have a feeling I’ll be replacing my old towels with this one!
The other choice item in this category is:
- Mintbiology Seaweed Collagen Gold Eye Masks ($35.00)
This item states it was designed in Europe and finished in China, which basically means it’s made in China.
Huna Skincare Nourish Skin Nutrition Balm ($80.00)
All subscribers will receive this item.
In the past I’d be disappointed to have received a skin balm, but since I’ve discovered how well they work on dry hands, feet and elbows, I love them.
The price of this one is a bit crazy, but it is vegan and made with natural ingredients.
It also has a really pleasant citrusy scent to it.
This product is made in Canada.
Fall 2021 Alltrue Subscription Box Final Thoughts
I absolutely love that as an annual subscriber I can choose most, if not all, of the items in my box. This ensures that I am getting products that I will actually use or plan to gift and am not wasting money.
While I wish every item could be made in the USA, the simple truth is that most manufacturing doesn’t happen here. I am assuming that because Alltrue chooses products that are not only good for you, but also good for the environment that the brand in each box are using ethical manufacturers.
Since product reviews are mostly just a matter of personal opinion, let’s talk about value of the Fall Alltrue box.
- Is this seasonal box worth it? In my opinion, yes. You will receive over $250.00 worth of items, 2 of which you get to choose with a seasonal membership, all/most of which you get to choose with an annual membership. For me, what really makes a box “worth it” is if I will use the large majority of the products. Obviously, if you are choosing some or all your own items, then you already know if you will be using them or possibly even gifting them. My box has a value of $276.00.
- Next, does this box fit the season? I would also say yes. All of the choices either have a warm, welcoming fall feel to them, or are good for all year long.
Overall, I am very happy with my Fall 2021 Alltrue box and am looking forward to what’s to come in winter. I would love to see warm and cozy items like a candle, scarf, or mittens and maybe some baking items or comfort food type items for home goods.
