My Review
This review is based solely on my own personal use of the product over a period of time. In this case I used this mask 6 times prior to writing this review.
I do also research other reviews and ratings to see if there are any other pros or cons to the product that come up often that may not have affected me.
My Skin Type
In general, I have normal to combination skin. While my facial skin isn’t sensitive at all, I do sometimes react to products on my neck.
I’m in my mid-40’s with only some fine lines around the eyes and some minor, but expected, loss of firmness.
How I Use Glow Juice
I used this as just a mask, and not as a spot treatment. I don’t really feel I need it as a spot treatment, nor would I remember to reapply it more than once a day.
The recommended wear time for this mask is just 3 minutes which is a huge plus for me. I don’t often have 15-30 minutes to wear a mask so the quicker, the better – as long as it’s effective.
I did experience only slight tingling and only here and there, rather than all over my face. My neck can be more sensitive sometimes, but this wasn’t irritating at all.
I also had no irritation or significant redness on my skin after rinsing the mask off.
My skin felt so smooth and maybe even a bit firmer afterwards.
The only issue I have is that once you take the jar out of the box, there are no instructions. Before my first use, I had thrown the box out and had to look them up online.
Most of the reviews I’ve read of this balm are very promising and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, effective exfoliating mask.
Cons
No one product is perfect for everyone.
I read through a lot of ratings and reviews for this product, most of which are very high.
The complaints that I did see were almost entirely about the product tingling, burning, or causing irritation. Some reviewers left the product on way too long (maybe because the jar doesn’t have directions on it), while others stated that they used other exfoliants and it may have been too much for their skin.
Glow Juice is meant to be safe for sensitive skin, so if you do try it, be sure to follow the instructions closely.
Where To Buy
