With so many different skin care products on the market, it can be really overwhelming to decide which ones you should invest in. Especially when it comes to higher costing products.
It wasn’t until recently that I even knew that I should be using a serum AND a moisturizer. I used to just use on or the other, assuming they both did the same thing. They don’t – more on that later.
I recently received a full size bottle of Skin Inc. My Daily Dose of Glow serum and have been using it as instructed for the past 3 weeks.
Below I will discuss more about the brand, the product itself, the results I have experienced and where you can purchase the product should you decide to try it.

My Daily Dose of Glow Review
What Is It?
My Daily Dose of Glow is one of Skin Inc.’s pre-blended serums. It is designed to give aging skin a more youthful glow.
It’s a clear serum with tiny pink and blue molecules suspended in it.
There are 3 main ingredients in this serum:
- Hyaluronic Acid: these are the little hydrolyzed molecules you can see floating in the clear serum. Hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Vitamin A: this vitamin is known for it’s anti-aging properties. It also makes the skin look healthier by helping with the renewal process.
- Chlorella: an algae extract that helps diminish dark spots, brighten the skin, and even the overall skin tone.
Who Is It For?
This serum is especially beneficial to those with aging skin, however, it’s never too early to use products like this serum for preventative purposes.
You could also try this serum if you have dryer skin, spend a lot of time out in the sun, or have dark spots or under-eye circles.
How I Used It
According to the directions on the package, 3 drops of this serum should be used before moisturizing.
What’s the difference between a serum and moisturizer? I dug deeper into this because with the addition of this product, I initially felt that I was putting too many different things on my skin.
Basically a serum is more of a treatment. Think of it as a dose of vitamins. These are lighter and more readily absorbed into the skin. Which serum you choose should vary depending on your own skin’s needs.
A moisturizer is a thicker cream meant to seal in moisture and hydrate the skin.
So, I followed the directions by applying 3 drops onto clean skin, then after it was absorbed, I followed with moisturizer and eye cream. I did this twice a day for 3 weeks.
Full disclosure: other skincare products that I used during this treatment period include Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion, Origins Ginzing Brightening Eye Cream, GlamGlow BerryGlow Mask (once a week for the first two weeks), and Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Mask (twice during the last week).
My Results
According to the Skin Inc. website, a study was done where 88% of the participants stated that their skin was more radiant after just one day. I would definitely be in that category.
It’s hard to describe, but my skin just looked better.
After 2 weeks, 88% of participants said their skin looked clearer. I don’t have many issues with redness or acne so it’s hard to report on this.
While I do have dark circles and some dark spots and have never seen anything really improve them (and I’ve tried a lot of different products for this purpose). I will say that the jury is still out here. There does not appear to be any change.
After 1 month, 98% of participants said their skin looked improved and 100% said their skin looks more luminous. I would totally agree with both of these statements after just 3 weeks.
I plan to continue this product until the bottle is gone (I’d estimate another 3-4 weeks or so) and will update this section should I see any more improvement with the dark spots. This is really the only area that I feel this product isn’t working too well for.
Overall, I am super happy with the overall appearance of my skin since I started using My Daily Dose of Glow.
How Much Does It Cost?
Skin Inc.’s products do fall into the mid to high range for price for skincare products.
The retail price of the My Daily Dose of Glow serum is $65.00. If you only use 3 drops, I’d estimate you will get between 5-6 weeks worth of usage, twice a day, from one bottle.

Hi Janel! I use 3-4 drops, rub it on my finger tips, then apply in an upward motion to my whole face. I do this before moisturizer/eye cream so I let it sink in for a few minutes before applying anything else. Hope this helps a little! I definitely saw results – hopefully you will too!
