The spring 2024 Beachly box is my fourth box since starting my subscription. Since my first box was more of a “starter” box, I wouldn’t count it as a full year yet until after the summer box this year.
This is the first box since the weather is turning warmer and it definitely has me itching for summer to hurry up and get here.
I definitely feel this box has much more of a spring-summer feel to it and I’m absolutely loving it.
Let’s take a look at what came!
What Is Beachly?
Beachly is a coastal lifestyle subscription box that ships quarterly. There is a women’s box and a men’s box.
It contains items like clothing, jewelry, decor, and more.
Can You Customize Your Beachly Box?
Yes, you can customize a couple of the items in your Beachly box.
Just be aware that customization closes before boxes start to ship so you may have to wait until the next box to be able to customize.
Add On’s
Add-on purchases are also an option each season.
This season was the first time I added additional items. The process was seamless and the total of the added items was simply added to the total box price.
How Much Does Beachly Cost?
Beachly has two subscription tiers, seasonal and annual. Seasonal is $99.00 a quarter. You can also pay for an annual subscription (4 boxes) upfront for a total of $336.00 which saves you $60.00 over the year.
Spring 2024 Beachly Review
Please keep in mind that some items will vary and that you will not have the ability to choose all of these items at this time. The window to choose items is only open for a short period of time, before boxes start shipping out.
Note: the first box is a welcome box, where you get to choose from some newer items and some past box items.
The Islander Coverup Dress by Poolside Paradiso ($78.00)
I chose this cover up dress instead of a sling bag or pair of sunglasses. I knew I wouldn’t wear the bag and the sunglasses looked like they’d be too large for my face, plus I got a pair in my last box.
The cover up is really pretty. It’s very lightweight, and you’d definitely have to be wearing something underneath, but it will be perfect poolside or at the beach on a hot summer day.
I love the tassels too!
This dress is made in India.
The Earth Towel by Sand Cloud ($50.00)
You can never have to many cute beach or pool towels, which is why I chose this item instead of a straw visor or picture frame and coaster set.
I think the colors on this towel are really pretty and a nice change from the usual blue-toned towels you often see in the summer. The design and color reminds me more of a summer sunset.
This towel is made from organic Turkish cotton. It’s very soft and has cute tassels all along both edges.
This towel is made in Turkey.
The Evening Glass Fragrance Oil by Pirette ($48.00)
I chose the fragrance oil because it sounded like a scent I would love. One of my favorite summer fragrances had been discontinued, but this smells so similar!
It says that it’s inspired by the stillness of a summer sunset, but it really reminds me of exactly what a crowded beach in the summer smells like – coconut, vanilla and salt water.
I love scents that remind me of some of my favorite moments, and this instantly took me back to vacationing in Cocoa Beach, Florida!
It’s also a roller ball which makes it super easy to apply as well.
The packaging is cute, but I don’t see any reason to keep it. I would probably find a way to re-use it if the top was a summery design and the product info was on the bottom.
The other choices in this category were a tie-dye t-shirt with two color options or a blue hat that says “Salty” on it.
Made in the U.S.A.
The Mineral Body Sunscreen by Sand Cloud ($18.00)
I chose the sunscreen rather than a cute foldable tote with palm leaves all over it.
We have a pool and spend so much time in the sun in the summer that we need all the sunscreen we can get. And, since I prefer to use mineral sunscreen, this was a great choice for me.
I tested a small amount on the back of my hand. It rubs in nicely without white residue.
This product is fragrance free. I prefer a nice, tropical scent but don’t mind at all that it doesn’t have a scent.
I assume this is made in the U.S.A. It also has a nice long expiration date of November 2026, so they definitely aren’t putting their older products in this subscription box like some brands have in other boxes in the past.
The ‘Cheers’ Can Cooler Pack by Beachly ($15.00)
I honestly don’t remember why I chose this item rather than a pineapple lip balm. I probably would have been more likely to use the lip balm.
We don’t drink out of cans or bottles often, but could put these out when we have pool parties.
The print is very cute and summery.
This product is made in China.
The Mermaid’s Tale Beaded Anklet by Lotus and Luna ($17.00)
Subscribers could choose this items or an item from the past.
I really wanted an ankle bracelet for summer and this one is super cute.
The only downside to this one is that you are supposed to take it off to swim. I would prefer one that can be left on.
This item is made by local artisans in Thailand.
Add-On’s
This season I added on Earth Harbor Ahoy Love Nourishing Milky Cleanser and Earth Harbor Blue Crush Marine Perfecting Mask.
I’ve been testing out Earth Harbor products and will post individual reviews of these products in the future.
Spring 2023 Beachly Box Final Thoughts
Overall I’m really happy with this box!
Being able to choose the items that you want makes it so much more likely that you’ll enjoy your box overall.
The only item that I wasn’t thrilled with was the can coolers.
I do think that Beachly does a great job at choosing items that fit within their niche and within the season.
I am still on the fence about upgrading to an annual subscription, but if I love the summer box as much as this one, I likely will.
