very florally. The Lovescript website describes it as a “heavenly, light lavender beach” fragrance. In my opinion it was far from light.

Who Is It For?

Anyone with dry or environmentally irritated skin.

How I Used It

According to the directions you apply this mask at bedtime (or anytime!) and leave on.

I have only used this at bedtime, once or twice a week.

Because the directions do not state at what step in your skincare routine, this mask should be used, I treated it as a moisturizer and applied as the final step before bed.

The product is much, much lighter than I expected. It feel more like a lotion than a cream or mask that I would typically associate with being very hydrating.

The scent is very strong for me. I don’t think many products that I apply to my face have much fragrance at all so that is likely why I noticed it so much with this one.

For this reason I only used this mask 4-5 times total.

Full disclosure: I did not use any other leave-on or wash-off masks during the test period.

My Results

I definitely feel that the product is moisturizing, even though it was very lightweight and absorbed very quickly.

Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any significant different in my skin the next morning when compared to the results that I get from other products that I love.

The scent has also been a huge deterrent for me. The jar is sitting on my bathroom counter in plain sight, but I just don’t want to use it. I may end up trying it again this summer when it’s possible my skin will be irritated from the sun and chlorine pool water.

While I will definitely use the entire jar in one way or another (hands or feet maybe?), I wouldn’t repurchase this product. I just prefer less fragrance and more significant results from a leave-on mask.
