Here are the activewear outfit choices that are available for September 2020 at Ellie. There are 17 outfits to choose from this month.

You can head over to the Ellie website to sign up and choose one of these outfits (if available) until the end of the month. If you are a current subscriber, you must choose or skip by August 4.
I love that Ellie is adding some cooler weather options this month! I really love the Lunar Flare and Solar Flare sets. The leggings are so pretty and the pullover looks to be a bit longer.
The accessories this month, if you have a 5-piece subscription, are resistance loops and an arm wallet (phone holder that fits onto your upper arm).
Which would (or did you) pick? If you are not a current member, you can shop the September looks (so long as items and sizes are still available) until the end of the month.

What Is Ellie?
Let’s first talk about what Ellie actually is. Ellie is a monthly activewear subscription with the option to just get the activewear or activewear and accessories and equipment.
You get to choose your outfit from at least 12-18 different options, with some being repeats from prior months.
There is also the ability shop previous collections (it does cost a bit more and only includes the clothing) and must have essentials that are all marked down significantly.
How Does Ellie Work?

Ellie chooses an outfit for you each month, but you have the ability to go in and change it or skip the month all together. You just need to log in between the 1st and the 4th of the month to do so.
I have not received any reminder emails to do this. So far, I’ve just remembered to check on the 1st of the month because I’m so excited to see what’s new, but it might be a good idea to set a reminder on your calendar.
How Much Does An Ellie Subscription Cost?
There are 3 different subscription options:
- The 2-Item plan is $39.95 a month and includes a top and bottoms.
- The 3-Item plan is $44.95 a month and includes a top, bottoms, and a sports bra.
- The 5-Item plan is $49.95 a month and includes a top, bottoms, a sports bra, and 2 pieces of accessories or equipment (like dry towels, a sports bag, workout bands etc.)
Remember, your first outfit is 25% off, regardless of which subscription you choose.
For me, it made sense to sign up for the 5-Item plan because I knew I wanted the 3 pieces of clothing. It’s only $5.00 more for the 2 additional items.
This is considerably less than other fitness wear subscriptions, so the question becomes, “How’s the quality?”

September 2020 Ellie Subscription Review
I chose the Solar Flare set this month. All 3 pieces in this set are currently sold out.
Marika Sparks Ankle Leggings

I just love the ombre foil print on these leggings. It looks like sparkles.
The leggings are a deep plum color and the foil print is a rose gold. The material is buttery soft, like most all of the sets that I’ve gotten from Ellie.
When I first opened my package, the fabric was stuck together where the foil print is. I was able to get it apart without any of the print pulling off. I hope it’s just because it was packaged for so long and doesn’t continue to stick or peel off.
Marika Ivy Sports Bra

The sports bra matches the leggings in both color and fabric.
This is a medium impact sports bra that’s a bit longer. The back has a cute cut out design and the pads are removable.
Marika Georgia Pullover

I was so excited to see long sleeves in this month’s collection.

This pullover is lightweight and super soft. There are criss-cross openings down the back.
I ordered a size up so that this would be the perfect top for lounging around the house in or when out running errands in the fall. I absolutely love it.

Marika Resistance Loops
I wasn’t too excited about this item since we just got resistance bands not too long ago, but after seeing how they are used, I think they will come in handy!
My kids just started back to school and I’m gradually working out a daily routine for myself. I plan to start getting up earlier to get a workout in 3-4 days a week and all of these little accessories that Ellie sends will come in handy.
Bally Total Fitness Arm Wallet
If you workout outdoors or in a gym, this arm wallet will come be really useful. It holds most phones and has a slot to put a key.
I probably won’t use this since I workout indoors at home.
Nuun Electrolyte Tablets

This is the second month in a row that we got a free sample of these Nuun electrolyte tablets.
You just throw them in your water bottle and they dissolve. My fiancé loves them and has since bought a couple more packages.
Final Thoughts

I love this month’s activewear set so much. It’s super soft and cozy, which is perfect for this time of year.
The quality is amazing, especially for the cost.
