With so many different skin care products on the market, it can be really overwhelming to decide which ones you should invest in. Especially when it comes to higher costing products and especially when those products are not as well-known.
I’ve tried a few products from Lovescript, including the Neck and Décolleté and Neck Leave-on Cream Mask and Sugarplum Body Polish. The neck cream works well, but the body polish was not what I expected.
I decided to try this Scented Body Mist in Orange Blossom along with the Body Butter in the same scent next.
Below I will discuss more about the brand, the product itself, the results I have experienced after using it several times, and where you can purchase the product should you decide to try it.
Lovescript is a brand started by relationship expert, Lauren Frances. The product line includes bath, body and boudoir items.
Their website states that their products will “will make your body feel deliciously luxurious to the touch, and our fragrance oils will delight you, and leave the objects of your desire, transfixed!”
Their product line includes perfume, body mist, body wash, body polish, body lotion, body butter and face and neck leave-on masks.
The Lovescript website appears to be a sister site to the creator’s Lauren Frances’s website. Most of the beauty products are listed for sale on both websites, though some are only available on one or the other.
If you’d like the read the entire novel on how Lovescript was started, you can do so on the Lovescript About page.
My Orange Blossom Scented Body Mist Review
What Is It?
Scented Body Mist is just that. It’s a spray-on mist that can be used on the body or hair to refreshen your scent throughout the day.
It has some light moisturizers in it, as well.
Some of the main ingredients are:
- Glycerin: keeps moisture in.
- Pichia/Resveratrol Ferment Extract: anti-aging and moisturizing.
- Polymnia Sonchifolia Root Juice: attracts moisture to the top layer of the skin.
The scent is floral (orange blosson) and on the stronger side.
Who Is It For?
This body spray can be used by anyone, unless you’re sensitive to perfume or strong scents.
How I Used It
The first few times I used this product, I sprayed it on immediately after moisturizing. This was a bit much.
I used it with the body butter (only on the Lauren Frances website thought the ability to shop on that website is currently not working) in the same scent, which works amazing as a moisturizer, but also has a strong fragrance to it.
I now use it mid-day as a scent touch-up, or just a light spritz in my hair between washes.
I found the scent to be fairly strong, but it faded throughout the day to just a light hint of frangrance.
The fact it doesn’t disappear completely right away is a huge plus.
As far as moisturizing, I’m not convinced that this product alone would be enough, nor do I feel it’s being marketing to be used alone.
How Much Does It Cost?
Lovescript’s products fall into the mid to high range price for skincare products.
The retail price of the Scented Body Mist is $34.00 for a 4 ounce bottle. How long the bottle lasts will depend on how you use it and how often.
