Here are the activewear outfit choices that are available forDecember 2020 at Ellie. There are 18 outfits to choose from this month. At least half of them are repeats, so if you were ever torn between a few options, you might be able to snag a past favorite this month.
You can head over to the Ellie website to sign up and choose one of these outfits (if available) until the end of the month. If you are a current subscriber, you must choose or skip by January 4.
In September they started adding more pull overs to the collections. There’s a good mix of long sleeve and sleeveless options this month.
The accessories this month, if you have a 5-piece subscription, are a set of 2-pound ankle weights and a fitness bag (fanny pack style).
I am on the fence, as usual – so many cute choices! I already own the Purple Haze set (it’s super soft and really nice quality) and the Glamazon (the leggings and sports bra are more textured but comfortable, and the pullover is very soft and cozy).
Which would (or did you) pick?

What Is Ellie?
Let’s first talk about what Ellie actually is. Ellie is a monthly activewear subscription with the option to just get the activewear or activewear and accessories and equipment.
You get to choose your outfit from at least 12-18 different options, with some being repeats from prior months.
There is also the ability shop previous collections (it does cost a bit more and only includes the clothing) and must have essentials that are all marked down significantly.
How Does Ellie Work?
Ellie chooses and outfit for you each month, but you have the ability to go in and change it or skip the month all together. You just need to log in between the 1st and the 4th of the month to do so.
I have not received any reminder emails to do this. So far, I’ve just remembered to check on the 1st of the month because I’m so excited to see what’s new, but it might be a good idea to set a reminder on your calendar.
How Much Does An Ellie Subscription Cost?
There are 3 different subscription options:
- The 2-Item plan is $39.95 a month and includes a top and bottoms.
- The 3-Item plan is $44.95 a month and includes a top, bottoms, and a sports bra.
- The 5-Item plan is $49.95 a month and includes a top, bottoms, a sports bra, and 2 pieces of accessories or equipment (like dry towels, a sports bag, workout bands etc.)
Remember, your first outfit is 25% off, regardless of which subscription you choose.
For me, it made sense to sign up for the 5-Item plan because I knew I wanted the 3 pieces of clothing. It’s only $5.00 more for the 2 additional items.
This is considerably less than other fitness wear subscriptions, so the question becomes, “How’s the quality?”

December 2020 Ellie Subscription Review – Polar Perfection
I ended up choosing the set named Polar Perfection. It looked like a cozy set that could easily be worn to work out or run errands.
The entire set is by the brand Marika, which is my favorite brand that Ellie offers. I absolutely love the dark blue-gray color of the bra and leggings and the soft blue-green top.
Marika Logan Sports Bra
This is a medium impact sports bra, but I don’t really feel it’s all that supportive. It has removable pads which I hate, but without them, the lack of support is obvious. It’s quite possible I needed to size down, which is odd since I always wear the same size on top, but this might run a tad big.
With all that said, it’s actually super soft and comfortable. In fact, this set might be my absolute favorite as far as how comfy it is to wear.
Marika Honor Leggings
These leggings are equally as soft and comfortable as the sports bra. They are cropped at the ankles and have a high rise waist.
The waist on ALL leggings roll on me. Never fails. But, these stay put the best of all the leggings that I own.
I’m between sizes when it comes to leggings, and I think I could have went with the smaller size, but these are my favorite leggings that I own right now.
Marika Betta Long Sleeve
I love the back of this shirt so much. It’s got a crossover design at the bottom of the back side and is open up to the neck where there is a little piece of fabric that runs across the back.
From the front it’s rather basic, but super soft and such a pretty color.
I will say that I find the tops run small. Im leaning towards sizing up 2 sizes instead of 1 next time I order. I never dry these tops because I’m so afraid they will shrink and not fit.
I’m also hoping to jump back into keto with both feet after the new year, as well as get back to working out so the tops *should* fit better soon.
My treadmill broke a couple of months ago and my fiance is hopefully, maybe getting me a new one for Christmas!
Marika Fitness Bag
This is a fanny pack style bag that you can wear multiple different ways because it has an adjustable strap. I did receive a similar bag in one of my first Ellie boxes, but it has been quite while.
There are 2 pockets with zippers and an ear bud port.
I only workout at home and use a small backpack when we travel, so I don’t really have any use for this.
I’ll either donate this or include it in a future giveaway.
Zobha Ankle Weights
Even though I absolutely love my outfit this month, I was most excited for these ankle weights. I realize this sounds pretty silly.
I used to have ankle weights years ago when I worked out all the time and was in the best shape of my life. I have no idea whatever happened to them, but I am so happy to have a new set and can’t wait to use them.
These are only 1 pound each, so it’s a great weight for just getting started – or re-started!
They had velcro to secure them and are adjustable.
Final Thoughts
I’m very happy with my Ellie box this month. I absolutely love my outfit choice. It’s incredibly soft and comfortable, as well as versatile.
Although I won’t use the bag, I love the ankle weights.
I definitely feel that Ellie is worth every penny and such an amazing value.
