What Is Caribbean Calcite?
Caribbean Calcite is a more recently discovered crystal made up of a combination of blue calcite, white Aragonite, and light brown Aragonite. It only comes from Pakistan and was first discovered in 2019.
While much of the Caribbean Calcite on the market has been polished, it is very common for it to have crevices, sometimes druzy lined. It has a hardness between 3 and 3.5 making it more delicate.
It is still unknown if this is the only location that Caribbean Calcite exists and how long the current supply will last before it is basically extinct.
You may also see Caribbean Calcite called Caribbean Blue Calcite or Ocean Blue Calcite. It is very similar in appearance to some Blue Aragonite.
Chakras
Caribbean Calcite is most likely associated with the crown and third eye chakras to help activate the mind and increase physic ability.
Zodiac
Because Caribbean Calcite is so new, it is not clear yet which zodiac signs it is most closely associated with. It has been linked to Cancer, Taurus, Libra and Pisces.
Benefits
Caribbean Calcite’s benefits are still being discovered. Some of the main benefits that you may experience from this crystal are:
- Decreased anxiety
- Calmness
- Better sleep
- Lucid dreaming
- Elevated consciousness
How To Care For Caribbean Calcite
Caribbean Calcite is not as hard as some other crystals so care should be taken when cleansing.
It can be rinsed in water and dried with a soft towel.
Recharge and cleanse Caribbean Calcite by immersing it in clear water for 60 seconds. You can also remove any negative energy by smoke cleansing your crystals or with Selenite.
Where To Buy Caribbean Calcite
Crystals should only be purchased from reliable sellers who source their products consciously. There are many fake crystals on the market and unethical practices in sourcing these stones.
We currently have consciously sourced Caribbean Calcite towers for sale in our Etsy store, or on our sister site, Jaxy Crystals. You can also find us on Tiktok where we hold live sales.

Hi I had one question that I didn’t see on your page I just wanted to know is Caribbean calcite UV reactive because I seen a really cool Skull and I’m collecting UV reactive minerals and skulls and it just looks awesome and wanted to purchase it
Lauren Vavala Harris says
Hi Nate! I’m sorry for the delay getting back to you here. From my understanding most calcite is UV reactive, but some not as “spectacular” as others. UV reactivity hasn’t been a big selling point with Caribbean Calcite like it has for other calcite, like pink mangano, though true Caribbean Calcite should be UV reactive. I am currently sold out to test it myself, but will next time I get a shipment in.

I just learned this cool fact about Caribbean Calcite by going around my shop and shining my UV light on everything. It’s amazing and I was totally surprised by all of the Caribbean Calcite lighting up.

Hi Domi! Yes, I just bought a UV light as well. It is fun to see the difference in some crystals and now I can see for myself what reacts and how 🙂
